Chapelle Saint-Pierre

The Chapelle Saint-Pierre is a 16th-century fishermen's chapel on the harbour of Villefranche-sur-Mer, long used to store nets and as the fishermen's court. In 1957 Jean Cocteau covered its interior with murals of the life of Saint Peter and of local fishing life and reworked the façade; it still belongs to the town's fishermen's guild.
