Visegrád Citadel

The Visegrád Citadel, known as the Fellegvár, is a pentagonal hilltop fortress built from 1250 under Queen Maria Laskarina on a rock 328 metres above the Danube. Restored in the 20th century, it now houses exhibitions on the castle's history, a scale model of medieval Visegrád, and a reproduction of the Hungarian Holy Crown.
