Gubałówka Funicular

The Gubałówka funicular, run by Polskie Koleje Linowe, climbs from the centre of Zakopane to the ridge of Gubałówka at 1,120 m. Opened in 1938 and rebuilt in 2001 with new cars and stations, it runs on a single track with a passing loop halfway up. From the upper station there are views across the town to the Tatra Mountains.
