Villa Koliba

Villa Koliba, built in 1892–93 by local carpenters to a design by Stanisław Witkiewicz for the collector Zygmunt Gnatowski, was the first house in the Zakopane style, which drew on the wooden building of the Podhale highlanders. Since 1993 it has housed the Tatra Museum's Museum of Zakopane Style, with furnished period rooms and Gnatowski's folk collection.
