Puente de Piedra

The Puente de Piedra is a stone bridge over the Ebro in Zaragoza, built between 1401 and 1440 under Gil de Menestral and repaired after a flood in 1643 destroyed two spans. About 225 metres long, it links the old town by the Basilica del Pilar with the north bank. Four bronze lions by Francisco Rallo Lahoz were placed at its ends in 1991.
