Roman Theatre of Caesaraugusta

The Roman Theatre of Caesaraugusta was built in the first half of the 1st century AD, under Tiberius and Claudius, and held about 6,000 spectators. Excavated from 1973, its seating and stage remains are seen from walkways under a translucent canopy, with a museum on Roman theatre and city life in a restored building beside it.
