Cavafy Museum

The Cavafy Museum occupies the flat on Cavafy Street in central Alexandria where the Greek poet Constantine P. Cavafy lived from 1907 until his death in 1933. Opened in 1992, it displays his letters, notes and manuscripts, portraits and photographs, a room once used by the writer Stratis Tsirkas, and translations of his poems in many languages.
