Almería Cathedral

Almería Cathedral, dedicated to the Incarnation, was built between 1524 and 1562 after an earthquake destroyed its predecessor. Its late Gothic and Renaissance church has the thick walls, towers and battlements of a fortress. Inside are a carved Renaissance choir and an alabaster tomb, both by Juan de Orea.
