Esztergom Basilica

The Esztergom Basilica, dedicated to the Assumption of Mary and St Adalbert, is Hungary's largest church, built between 1822 and 1869 to designs by Pál Kühnel, János Packh and József Hild. Its dome rises 71.5 metres, and the crypt and treasury, built in 1831 and 1886, hold archbishops' tombs and liturgical artworks.
