Frankfurt Cathedral

Frankfurt Cathedral is a Gothic Roman Catholic church in the city centre, built mainly in the 14th and 15th centuries on the site of a royal chapel founded in 852. Despite its name it was never an episcopal seat; from 1356 it served as the Holy Roman Empire's election and coronation church. Its tower rises 95 metres.
