Alte Oper

Alte Oper is a concert hall in Frankfurt's Bankenviertel, built in 1880 as the city's opera house and destroyed by bombing in 1944. Rebuilt as a concert venue with a large hall and smaller rooms, it reopened in 1981. The square in front, Opernplatz, still carries the name of its original use.
