Palais de Rumine

The Palais de Rumine is a Florentine Renaissance-style building on the Place de la Riponne, designed by the Lyon architect Gaspard André and paid for by a bequest of Gabriel de Rumine. The Treaty of Lausanne was signed here in 1923. It houses the cantonal museum of archaeology and history, the Naturéum's geology and zoology halls and a library.
