M Leuven
M Leuven is the city's art museum, opened in 2009 in the former house of mayor Leopold Vander Kelen, extended to a design by Stéphane Beel. Its collection of about 46,000 works runs from late-Gothic sculpture and paintings by Dieric Bouts and Rogier van der Weyden to 19th-century works by Constantin Meunier and Jef Lambeaux and contemporary art.
