Nuremberg Castle

Nuremberg Castle is a group of medieval fortifications on a sandstone ridge above the old town, built in stages from around 1000 to the 15th century. Visitors can see the Palas, the Romanesque double chapel, the Sinwell Tower and a 50-metre well, alongside a permanent exhibition on the Holy Roman Empire.
