Tartini House

Tartini House on Tartini Square is the birthplace of the violinist and composer Giuseppe Tartini, born here in 1692. First recorded in 1384 as a Gothic house, it was later remodelled in neoclassical style. It is the seat of the Italian community, and a memorial collection of the Maritime Museum shows Tartini's violin and portrait.
