Walls of Piran

The Walls of Piran are the town's medieval defences on Mogoron Hill above the old town. Their outer ring, built between 1470 and 1538, survives almost intact with battlements and seven towers. Visitors walk a stretch of the wall walk and climb three of the towers, with views over the town and the sea.
