Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace

The Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace on Oglethorpe Avenue is the Regency-style house, built in 1821, where the founder of the Girl Scouts of the USA was born in 1860. Owned by the Girl Scouts and opened as a museum in 1956, it is restored to the 1880s and shows family furnishings, Low's own artwork and the story of the movement she started in Savannah in 1912.
