St. Michael's Fortress

St. Michael's Fortress sits on a steep rock above Šibenik's old town and is the oldest part of the city's defences, with most of its walls dating from the early 15th century. Restored in 2014, it now holds an open-air stage with 1,077 seats used for summer concerts, and its walls look over St. Anthony's Channel and the mouth of the Krka.
