Pelișor Castle

Pelișor Castle is a smaller royal residence on the Peleș estate in Sinaia, built between 1899 and 1902 for the future King Ferdinand and Queen Marie to designs by Karel Liman. Its interiors, shaped largely by Queen Marie, combine Art Nouveau with Byzantine and Celtic motifs; visitors see the oak-panelled hall of honour, the chapel and the Golden Room.
