Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki

The Archaeological Museum of Thessaloniki presents finds from prehistory to late antiquity, mostly from the city and the wider region of Macedonia. The building, designed by Patroklos Karantinos, opened in 1962. Among its exhibits are the gold of Macedonia and the Derveni krater, a bronze vessel from the 4th century BC.
