Yokohama Museum of Art

The Yokohama Museum of Art opened in 1989 in the Minato Mirai district, in a stone-clad building by Kenzo Tange with a 180-metre colonnaded facade. Its collection of more than 15,000 works includes Cézanne, Picasso, Dalí and Magritte, artists linked to Yokohama and photography, and it reopened after a major renovation.
