Cloth Hall

The Cloth Hall on the market square of Ypres was built between about 1200 and 1304 as the market and warehouse of the city's cloth trade, and its belfry rises 70 metres. Destroyed by shellfire in the First World War, it was reconstructed between 1933 and 1967 and now houses the In Flanders Fields Museum on the war in the West Flanders front region.
