Winter Gardens

The Winter Gardens is an entertainment complex in central Blackpool that opened in 1878. Under one roof it holds the Opera House theatre, rebuilt in 1939, the Empress Ballroom of 1896, which has hosted the Blackpool Dance Festival since 1920, and several Art Deco halls. Guided tours visit the stage and the ballrooms.
