Rector's Palace

The Rector's Palace was the seat of the rector and government of the Republic of Ragusa until 1808. Rebuilt after a fire in 1435 to plans by Onofrio della Cava, it combines a Gothic building with a Renaissance portico. It now houses the Cultural History Museum, with period rooms, paintings and objects from the Republic's history.
