Church of St. Ignatius

The Church of St. Ignatius is the Baroque Jesuit church on Ruđer Bošković Square in Dubrovnik's Old Town, built from 1699 to 1725 to designs by Andrea Pozzo. Gaetano Garcia painted the apse frescoes of the saint's life, a Lourdes grotto was added in 1885, and the Jesuit Stairs by Pietro Passalacqua lead down to Gundulić Square.
