Stradun

The Stradun, also called Placa, is the main street of Dubrovnik's Old Town, a limestone-paved pedestrian street about 300 metres long between the Pile Gate and Luža Square. Laid over a channel filled in during the 13th century, it is lined with uniform houses rebuilt after the 1667 earthquake, with Onofrio's fountains and bell towers at both ends.
