Lyceum of Eger

The Lyceum is a baroque former seminary building on Eszterházy tér in Eger, begun in 1761 under Bishop Barkóczy and completed in 1785 under Bishop Eszterházy Károly, with Jakab Fellner among its architects. It houses a historic library with ceiling frescoes and, in its tower, an 18th-century camera obscura and astronomy museum open to visitors.
