Cathedral Basilica of Eger
The Cathedral Basilica of Eger was built between 1831 and 1837 by József Hild for Archbishop János László Pyrker and serves as the seat of the Archdiocese of Eger. Its neoclassical facade has a Corinthian portico and statues of saints, and a central dome rises 40 metres above the three-nave interior.
