GeoSea

GeoSea is a set of geothermal sea baths on the Húsavíkurhöfði headland just north of Húsavík, overlooking Skjálfandi Bay. The pools hold hot, mineral-rich seawater at 38–39 °C from two boreholes; it flows from pool to pool and over the edges into the sea. The baths follow a local custom of bathing in an old cheese vat on the headland.
