Húsavíkurkirkja

Húsavíkurkirkja is a wooden church above the harbour of Húsavík, built in 1907 to designs by the Icelandic architect Rögnvaldur Ólafsson. The cross-shaped building is painted white with red trim, under a green roof and a pointed spire. It still serves the parish for services, baptisms, weddings and funerals.
