Jakarta History Museum

The Jakarta History Museum occupies the former Stadhuis, the city hall of Dutch Batavia, completed in 1710 on the south side of Fatahillah Square in Kota Tua. Rooms on its three floors trace the city's past from prehistoric finds and the kingdoms of Tarumanagara and Pajajaran to the colonial era, with antique furniture, ceramics and stone inscriptions.
