Temple of Hatshepsut

The Temple of Hatshepsut is a mortuary temple at Deir el-Bahari on Luxor's west bank, built for the female pharaoh Hatshepsut in the 15th century BC. Three colonnaded terraces joined by ramps rise against the limestone cliffs. Its reliefs show the expedition to the land of Punt and the queen's divine birth.
