Torre Grossa
The Torre Grossa is the tallest of San Gimignano's surviving medieval towers, 54 metres high and built in 1310 beside the Palazzo Comunale on Piazza del Duomo. Visitors climb it through the Civic Museums; from the top the view takes in the other towers, the town's squares and the countryside of the Val d'Elsa.
