Asian Civilisations Museum
The Asian Civilisations Museum occupies the Empress Place Building on the Singapore River, a neoclassical government building first completed in 1867, where it moved in 2003. Its galleries on maritime trade, faith and belief, and materials and design trace the cultures of China and of Southeast, South and West Asia, from which Singapore's communities descend.
