Clarke Quay

Clarke Quay is a riverside quay on the Singapore River, named after Sir Andrew Clarke, governor of the Straits Settlements in the 1870s. Its rows of 19th-century warehouses, where lighters once unloaded goods, were restored and opened in 1993 as a dining and nightlife quarter; river boats stop at the jetty.
