Temple of Jupiter

The Temple of Jupiter is a small Roman temple built between 295 and 305 in the western part of Diocletian's Palace, near the Peristyle. It was turned into the baptistery of St John in the early Middle Ages; inside are a coffered barrel vault, a font with an 11th-century relief of a Croatian king and a bronze John the Baptist by Ivan Meštrović.
