Yamashita Park

Yamashita Park is a waterfront park in Yokohama's Naka Ward, built on rubble from the 1923 Great Kantō earthquake and opened in March 1930. Along its harbour promenade lie the museum ship Hikawa Maru, a sunken rose garden with about 1,900 plants, the Indian Water Tower donated in 1937 and the statue of the girl with red shoes.
