    tourist attraction · Lauterbrunnen

Staubbach Falls is a waterfall just west of Lauterbrunnen village that drops about 297 m from a hanging valley over overhanging cliffs. Much of the water turns to spray before it reaches the valley floor. A visit in 1779 inspired Goethe's poem Gesang der Geister über den Wassern, and a path leads to the foot of the fall in summer.
