Archbishop's Palace

The Archbishop's Palace is a U-shaped baroque residence in Veszprém's castle quarter, built in 1765–1776 for Bishop Ignác Koller to plans by Jakab Fellner. Its staircase, ceremonial dining hall and chapel carry frescoes by Johann Cymbal, and it houses the archdiocese's library. Visits are on guided walks through the ceremonial hall and the salons.
