Gizella Chapel

The Gizella Chapel was built in the mid-13th century as a two-storey palace chapel and stands between the Archbishop's Palace and the Provost's House in Veszprém's castle quarter. Its lower chapel keeps 13th-century wall paintings of the apostles in a Byzantine manner. It is named after Queen Gisela and is seen on guided walks.
