Veszprém Castle

Veszprém Castle is the historic quarter on a rocky ridge above the Séd valley, about 400 metres long. Vár utca runs from the Heroes' Gate past baroque church buildings, the cathedral and the Archbishop's Palace to a lookout with statues of King Stephen and Queen Gisela. The archdiocese restored 18 of its buildings from 2022.
