The Church of St. Ignatius is the Baroque Jesuit church on Ruđer Bošković Square in Dubrovnik's Old Town, built from 1699 to 1725 to designs by Andrea Pozzo. Gaetano Garcia painted the apse frescoes of the saint's life, a Lourdes grotto was added in 1885, and the Jesuit Stairs by Pietro Passalacqua lead down to Gundulić Square.

The Church of St Blaise, dedicated to Dubrovnik's patron saint, was built between 1706 and 1715 by the Venetian architect Marino Gropelli after a fire destroyed the 14th-century church. The domed Baroque building stands on Luža Square at the end of the Stradun, and its high altar holds a gilded silver statue of the saint.

Dubrovnik Cathedral, dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, was built in Baroque style between 1671 and 1713 after the earthquake of 1667 destroyed the Romanesque cathedral on the site. Inside are paintings by Titian and other Italian artists, and a treasury of reliquaries kept since the Middle Ages.
