Alcázar of Toledo
The Alcázar of Toledo is a square stone fortress with four corner towers on the highest point of the city, rebuilt for Charles V from the 1540s. Largely destroyed in the 1936 siege and reconstructed between 1939 and 1957, it has housed Spain's Army Museum since 2010, covering the history of the Spanish army.
