Church of Santo Tomé

The Church of Santo Tomé is a parish church in Toledo's old town, rebuilt in the early 14th century by Gonzalo Ruiz de Toledo, Lord of Orgaz, who turned the minaret of an earlier mosque into its Mudéjar bell tower. A chapel at the back holds El Greco's The Burial of the Count of Orgaz (1586–1588), painted for his tomb.
