Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca

The Synagogue of Santa María la Blanca was built around 1180–1205 in Toledo's Jewish quarter and is one of three synagogues of medieval Castile that still stand. Inside, rows of white horseshoe arches rest on octagonal piers with carved capitals; after 1391 it passed to the Church and was consecrated as a church in the early 15th century.
